Looking forward to engaging in a public dialogue with Taiwan film producer Aileen Li tomorrow at UCLA as part of the Focus on Taiwan sidebar of the Taiwan Film Biennial. Aileen is one of Taiwan’s most dynamic film producers, getting her start back around 2004 with the breakout hit Formula 17 and more recently the film Detention. Aileen and I also served together on the Golden Horse FF jury last year, so I’m looking forward to our reunion.
