LaMarcus Aldridge’s sore right thigh has been responding to treatment, though the All-Star forward remains questionable for the Spurs’ Southwest Division showdown against Houston on Tuesday.

Aldridge, 34, missed Sunday’s 132-98 loss at Detroit, taking his first DNP of the season.

His teammates, meanwhile, missed Aldridge.

“L.A. does a lot offensively and does a good job of communicating defensively,” guard Derrick White said. “It was a big loss without him, but next-man-up mentality. We’ve got to find a way (without him), but we want him back obviously.”

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said an MRI on Aldridge’s thigh showed “a little bit of stuff,” but the team is hopeful Aldridge’s absence will not be a long one.

In the meantime, the Spurs will hope their lone 2019 All-Star gets well soon.
