读了一条16世纪末17世纪初墨西哥发布的禁令，其中对中国人的态度似乎和黑人与黑白混血人的态度有些相似。这条禁令主要是管控黑人与黑白混血人的武器与服装，但条文的第三条却这么写：

Likewise, that no person of quality, no matter what their occupation or rank, can bring or will bring as their guard two blacks or mulattos or Chinese, under penalty of loosing the additional servants, to a third of their assessed value, one for the court, one for the judge, and another for the plaintiff. However, it is allowed to have Spanish, Indian or mestizo guards, in any number desired.

因为翻译自西语，有一些别扭，原文是 Item, que ninguna persona de cualquier calidad, oficio o preminencia que sea, pueda traer ni traiga en su acompañamiento más que tan solamente dos negros o mulatos o chinos, so pena de perder los que de más trajeren, aplicada su valor por tercias partes: cámara, juez y denunciador; pero bien se les permite traer españoles, indios o mestizos, todos los que quisieren.

所以中国人与黑人一样不能被作为guard，相反的是，此时的印第安人却可以作为guard[思考]
