曾经读到过未来主义(The Futurist)的宣言，F. T. Marinetti在1909年这样写道：

We want to glorify war — the only cure for the world — militarism, patriotism, the destructive gesture of the anarchists, the beautiful ideas which kill, and contempt for woman. 我们要美化战争——这个世界的唯一良药——军国主义、爱国主义、无政府主义者的破坏性姿态、杀戮的美丽思想、对女人的蔑视。

这让我觉得很难去谈及喜欢某个艺术运动(art movement)，所以往往只会谈喜欢某位艺术家或作品。运动往往会倒向以masculinity男性气质、白人至上为中心，种族和性别歧视的、边缘化弱势群体的、只关注于权力的、法西斯的。
