【#赖小民被执行死刑#】经最高人民法院核准，2021年1月29日上午，天津市第二中级人民法院依照法定程序对赖小民执行了死刑。2021年1月5日，因受贿罪、贪污罪和重婚罪，赖小民被天津市第二中级人民法院判处死刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产。赖小民上诉后，天津市高级人民法院裁定驳回上诉，维持原判，并报请最高人民法院核准。最高人民法院经复核确认：赖小民身为国家工作人员，利用职务上的便利，为他人谋取不正当利益，索取、非法收受他人财物共计折合人民币17.88亿余元；非法占有公共财物共计人民币2513万余元；有配偶而长期与他人以夫妻名义共同生活。最高人民法院核准天津市高级人民法院维持第一审对赖小民判处死刑的刑事裁定。Lai Xiaomin, former board chairman of China Huarong Asset Management Co., was executed on Friday, after approval of China's Supreme People's Court. The court has found Lai accepted money and gifts worth over 1.78 billion yuan (about $276 million).
