Critics of pharmaceutical companies point to the millions of people living in the developing world who are dying from treatable and preventable diseases. These people are denied access to medicines which might save their lives because they or their governments cannot afford to buy them. In addition, local companies are unable to replicate these drugs without breaking the law. Many people believe this is morally wrong, and I agree. In my opinion, life-saving medicines should be sold at a lower price outside of the developed world.
