Panda Adventure Trails - Recon Trip - First few days - Day 6: Route g248???

A great days cycling! 157km - 2600m. A quick downhill from the village into Danba. Then a gentle uphill following a river through gorges. Gorgeous. Up and up, past motorbikes, cars, waterfalls and making our way to the tree line and noodle / coffee stop at around 4000m. A quick pop over the top and then a fantastic downhill through the golden gingko trees, through golden rice fields with a golden roofed temple in the background. Even more gorgeous. Then onto Tagon where we had a little rain and a rainbow popped out. 20 years since i was last in Tagon. A bikes a lot more fun than a donkey! Then down the holly rock river where the locals have painted inscriptions on all the river rocks. Then finial push to our hotel in Xinduqiaozhen. Great #tanqi# day.
