【海客谈COP15特辑：种植红树林，保护自然保护家】位于泰国湾海岸线上的沙木钦村（Khun Samut Chin）曾是一座小渔村，因为海平面上升和海岸侵蚀，现已被海水吞噬。被海水围困的佛寺原本是村子的中心，靠着四周新建起来的混凝土堤坝才得以幸存。当地村民和政府一直尝试阻止海水入侵，终于成功利用一排排的竹墙来缓解波浪冲击。竹排后面堆积的泥沙上也种上了红树林，来减缓海岸被侵蚀的速度。与此同时，年轻一代也勇敢地站了出来，他们参加海洋垃圾清理活动，用有力的行动来对抗气候变化。#生物多样性大会# #生物多样性大会2022# Khun Samut Chin, once a small fishing village on the coastline of the Thai gulf, has been swallowed by seawater due to rising sea levels and coastal erosion. The temple "island" was originally the center of the village, and thanks to its concrete embankment the temple survived. Villagers and the government have been trying to prevent erosion and succeeded in using bamboo walls to relieve the impact of waves. Mangroves were also planted to slow down the erosion of the coast.
