2023年6月20日，lightreading报道，汉斯最大的电信公司汉斯电信Deutsche Telekom老板Höttges认为，欧盟排斥菊花构建5G网络的政策“不合理”。

除非汉斯政府施压，否则Deutsche Telekom将会继续和菊花合作。

Höttges说：“菊花的5G天线算不算关键设备？根据汉斯法律，它不被视为关键设备。顺便说一句，每部手机也算是‘一根天线’。”

欧盟内部市场专员Thierry Breton认为，中兴和菊花现在被视为“高风险供应商”要求欧盟拆除相关设备，但许多国家的运营商对此行动缓慢甚至无视轨道。

比如汉斯电信的年度报告称，仍然从菊花购买5G设备，用于在2022年年底覆盖汉斯约95%人口的网络，包括约24000个站点的80000多根天线。
