The Fleeting Holiday

Amidst the lingering glow of the Mid-Autumn moon,
While the National Day fireworks fade too soon,
This holiday, a splendid dream in flight,
It seems it's just begun, yet says goodnight.

Each gathering, a treasure we embrace,
Every laughter, a memory to trace,
Reluctant to bid this holiday adieu,
Cherishing those dear, both old and new.

Yet, time's unyielding, it marches on,
Despite our yearning, it won't be drawn.
So, we await the next holiday's embrace,
Anticipating the joy of our next grace.

Let this longing turn into our guiding light,
For the next splendid holiday is in sight,
In unity and laughter, side by side,
Embracing the future, with hearts open wide.
