WEACT’s been facing a lot of financial difficulties since the Hwasung rescue, but one day, we received a glowing email, emitting a ray of hope. It was from Pledis Entertainment.

The email read that one of Pledis’ artists, Seventeen’s S.Coups 🍒 had donated 30,000,000 KRW (rougly 23,000 USD)!!! His warm and generous donation has allowed our rescues to receive all the medical care that they needed.

To spread word about his kind gesture, we named one of our rescues after Seventeen’s fandom name. Meet #weact_Carat! S. Coups actually picked out the name himself out of a few options that we presented to him 💎
