门是不受干扰的隐居的象征，回避的象征；心灵躲进极乐的平静或悲哀的秘密搏斗的象征。
一个房间没有门就不是一个房间，而是一个过道。
一个人不管在哪儿，在一扇关着的门里面，他就可以无拘无束。在关着的门内用脑最灵。人不是要被赶在一块儿放牧的马群。狗还知道门的意义并为之苦恼呢。你可曾注意到一只小狗依恋在一个紧闭的大门边？那是人生的一个象征。
开门和关门是一部分生命的严酷的流传。生命不会静止而听任我们支配。我们不断地怀着希望将门打开，又带着绝望把门关上。生命并不比一斗烟丝延续地更为长久，而命运却把我们像敲落烟灰似的给敲落了。

A room without a door is not a room but a corridor. No matter where a person is, behind a closed door, he can be free and at ease. The most ingenious thinking occurs inside a closed door. People are not like horses herded together.Dogs even know the significance of doors and suffer because of them. Have you ever noticed a small dog attached to a tightly closed door? It's a symbol of life.
Opening and closing doors are part of the harsh continuity of life. Life never stands still and allows us to dominate it. We constantly hope to open doors with optimism and yet, despair closes them again. Life is no longer lasting than a pouch of cigarettes, and fate knocks us down like ashes from a cigarette.
