A centuries-old hand-waving dance originated there. It is also home to the ancient town of Baifu and the traditional Tujia village of Yangmei, where one can drink a bowl of Youcha soup, sip bayberry wine, learn a Tujia dialect, watch a Tujia opera and sing and dance with the locals.
