The journey of being an artist is not without its challenges. There is criticism, doubt and fear for any creator, and @blackswan _ official's main vocalist NVee believes that those challenges need to be embraced. But it doesn't mean it's an easy process. “Right now, I'm still learning how to take on criticism,”she confesses.“It's hard, but it's all a part of professionalism and growing up. The criticism I am given—whether it be positive, negative, or constructive —I like to take it in a way that will help me become abetter artist and person. It's a long process, but that's how a lot of great artists become strong."
NVee admits that the most difficult part of the journey is learning not to buckle under mental pressure of self-criticism rather than criticism from outside.“I am my biggest fan as well as my biggest hater," she says, and it's an honest reflection of how we all often feel about ourselves.“When it all comes down to it, I criticize myself the most. Which is not a bad thing, but I've learned not to overload myself with negative criticism; because it can lead to self-doubt. Which can affect my mental as well as my work and relationships. Instead of always focusing on the negative,I like to point out what I did well. It all depends on my mindset. My amazing friend and choreographer @kany16 once told me,'You are better than what your mind lets you believe.' So don't let your mind get the better of you. Do more. Think less."
