Turns out flying across the country mid-finals isn’t as bad as it seems! It was a huge privilege to be recognized alongside these skating greats at the 2024 Gold Gala. Representing the US on the World and Olympic stage as an Asian American brings me so much meaning and joy, and I’ll strive to continue doing my part in wearing our colors proudly. Happy AAPI Heritage Month all!!
