【花脸节】花脸节是云南丘北彝族群众的传统节日。因远古先民用黑灰把脸部抹黑、驱魔除害而得名。“花脸节”已经成为当代彝族青年借抹花脸之机选择意中人的狂欢活动。每年此时，彝族村寨的男女青年都会互相追逐，手抓黑灰，把对方的脸抹黑，被抹得越黑表示情意越深。The Hualian Festival is a traditional festival of the Yi ethnic group in Qiubei County of southwest China's Yunnan Province. It was named after the ancient tradition of daubing black ash on people's faces to exorcise evil. The Hualian Festival has now become a carnival for young Yi people to choose their partners.
