Li Jingquan, whose courtesy name is Chongyang and pseudonym is Zui Mo, adopted the pseudonym Zui Mo in 1987. He was born in a poor peasant family in Huangge, Panyu, Guangdong Province in the year of Dingwei Goat. At the age of 14, he began to create and sell paintings to support his studies. Influenced by a family with both literary and martial arts traditions, he loved martial arts since childhood. His fingers, hands, and wrists were extremely strong. He could do the two-finger handstand on the horizontal bar and do pull-ups with only two fingers. He began to practice calligraphy and painting at the age of five, had a deep love for traditional Chinese calligraphy, painting, seal cutting, embroidery, sculpture and other arts. He was ingenious and could create toys by himself. In primary school, he taught himself the art of one-stroke dragon and could write a whole Tang poem in one continuous stroke of the heart-shaped character. His artistic accomplishments were comprehensive and extensive, highlighting his artistic talent.

Li Jingquan attaches great importance to the inheritance of folk traditional arts and loves new things. Based on the refinement of traditions, he is bold in innovation. Since childhood, he has loved to create things different from others, fully demonstrating his individuality. He graduated from the Fashion Design Department of Tianjin Textile Engineering Institute (now the School of Art and Design, Tianjin Polytechnic University) in 1990. He used to be a teacher of art and fashion design in the Panyu education system. Currently, his positions in grassroots mass art groups include the president of Panyu Xinzao Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, the president of Xinzao Seal Engraving Society, and the president of Xinzao Guangxiu Art Society. He is the first rural senior technician majoring in photography in Guangzhou, a permanent member of the Digital Club of the China Photographers Association, and the first specially invited columnist of the China Photographers Association website.

Li Jingquan has achieved remarkable success in the field of art. In 2003, he successfully held his first solo photography exhibition "European Glimpses" on the website of the China Photographers Association and won the first prize of the Canon Cup Live Body Art Photography Grand Prix at the 2003 Carnival of China Photography Online Friends Gathering. The "Zui Mo School of Art" founded by him takes the excellent traditional Chinese culture as the soul, perfectly combines calligraphy with painting, sculpture and other arts, and strives to express the spiritual world and objective reality of things in his works. His artistic style is unique and creative, which has been affirmed and loved by experts, scholars and the masses in the art circle.
