2024.08.04 7SINS ONEMAN SET FIRE 🔥

I first thought there's no way I'm going, it's too hard to go for just one short live. But knowing that it was one of Qiako's dreams for 2024, after I returned from tipToe's last live my perspective changed and I felt it was extremely important to be there for this moment. Once again, after the live ended any thoughts of regret had disappeared completely.

I'm a bad judge of performance quality, I attend lives to have fun and quality is a small factor in this. However with 7SINS both times that I have come back I've felt there has been a considerable improvement, most notably in their singing as I've always thought their dance has been strong.

The setlist was about what I expected. The amount of covers in 7SINS repertoire has crept up slowly without me noticing and it was good to revisit songs that I hadn't heard since I first started following them, and even one or two I had never heard. I think my current favourites are Buster Buster, ENEMY and live生live.

The new original reburn is enjoyable and compliments their other originals while bringing a new style. The start really gets me hype and there's lots of Qiako singing in the first few verses [哇] I think it will be a strong part of setlists once the audience gets used to the timing of the "Oi" calls. The new SE is a good addition however doesn't feel all that distinctive/memorable to me :/

It seems there were a few important talking points in the MC but I could not understand any of it apart from the next OM is in November!! 🥳😕

I really like that 7SINS are a self produced group who are able to do what they themselves find exciting. I think it's really impressive to manage a large setlist like this and organise an entire live for the first time ever and hope it contributes to their confidence knowing that it can be done successfully. I also liked a few of the smaller details they implemented at the live such as the lighting, big banner, in audience encore and the customised shirts 🔥

Before coming to the live I wanted to get some flowers as congratulations. After browsing mail order flowers for my entire flight they all felt like a boring copy and paste so I tried to find a florist in person, however they also seemed to be the same. I eventually picked the nicest ones I could find online and after a long struggle communicating with the courier I finally got them delivered to my hotel and was happy with how they looked in person.

Due to the announcement of limited tokens I was really worried that I would not get much talk time so I arrived around 4pm to ensure I could get as many tokens as possible. I picked up the shirt while waiting and really love the design, it's become my favourite idol shirt [酷] (but I wonder why Weibo id is used on the back instead of normal member names [疑问])

It was nice to see some familiar faces from my time in Shanghai and also meet a few new faces I had only known through Weibo. Pre live cheki time with ota is too cute, I might stop buying idol chekis and just take ota chekis from now on... 🫶🫶🫶 

When going into the live I was rushed through group cheki. When I saw Qiako for the first time she did not seem surprised so I figured she had found out I was coming 🥲 For real pretty sad that the surprise you didn't work out and that it's failed twice. At least I got to collect my mail cheki's I guess 🫤

Once inside I got a spot on the rail but it was weird with a bump in the middle that made it a little uncomfortable for masai and standing on. I haven't done masai much before and didn't realise it could get so tiring. My body still isn't fit enough, maybe I need to try doing HIIT workout instead of running to improve VO2 max.

I'm still unsure of what the best way to enjoy the live is. When I am up front on the rail I always want to go back and play but after I left to the back for STEPPER I wished I had just stayed at the front for the whole live. I'm not used to having someone I care about this much standing on the stage in front of me and for the first time I feel being able to watch them closely and experience small moments of interaction with them is the most special part of the live and allows me to forget my desire to go play.

Guangzhou ota are not as playful as Shanghai but there are still enough people who love to have fun. Once again I'm still a little too shy, for example I really felt like going up at the start or ReBurn when it first came on but I hesitated. Next time I'll make sure to just trust my instinct! It's really fun to say fuck you to PURiN during ENEMY 😈

@茶子QIAKO_7SINS It was short but I'm glad we could spend a little time together again after 3 months 🥹 I feel I didn't have much to say this time. Maybe I was a bit too silly since you hit me a lot... [抓狂] I'm still not so good at expressing my thoughts and feelings seriously sometimes. Also I'm sorry, I don't think I apologised properly for knocking your head with the speaker, I didn't notice it had moved that much 🙏🥺 You're real tuff for still keeping a smile in the cheki anyway 👊

Although we talk every week it's not the same when we're separated by a screen. Being able to laugh and smile together with you is the most wonderful thing. The same goes for your performance. Since May I've rarely watched the recording as there's always a slight sense of sadness that I'm not there to enjoy the live in person. Seeing your smile on stage and meeting your gaze while you are giving your all performing really makes my heart beat faster than anything else [心]

I'm so happy that your dream could be realised on that day. The last time I asked you whether there was anything you wanted to achieve as an idol you didn't have anything. Regardless of your performance improvement, the fact that you've come to develop ambitions like this is also an important part of growth. I hope I can be with you once again when your next dream comes true [抱一抱]

I got to talk with you more than I expected but no matter how much we talk I go back to missing you again straight after I leave the livehouse 🥲
