On September 11th in 1988, Michael concluded the European leg of his Bad World Tour with a sold-out performance before 125,000 people at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, UK. The Liverpool Echo recalls that tickets cost £16.50 and that “The set list featured an impressive 18 tracks ... Michael saved ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ and ‘Man in the Mirror’ for the encore, much to the delight of the screaming crowd.”
