#中国—东盟中心简讯# 【ASEAN Diplomats Rejoice at the “Jingcai” Lantern Show 东盟国家驻华外交官共赏“京彩灯会”】

On the evening of 19 October 2024, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) invited the diplomats from ASEAN Member States (AMS) Embassies in China for a tour of 2024 Beijing “Jingcai” Lantern Show at the Beijing Garden Expo Park. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ACC led the group of around 180 people including Ambassador Pehin Dato Rahmani Dato Basir of Brunei and his spouse, DCM Parulian George Andreas Silalahi of the Embassy of Indonesia and his spouse, and diplomats from other AMS Embassies in Beijing on this joyful tour.
2024年10月19日晚，中国—东盟中心组织东盟国家驻华外交官赴园博园参观“京彩灯会”。中国—东盟中心秘书长史忠俊大使、文莱驻华大使拉赫玛尼夫妇、印度尼西亚驻华大使馆副馆长裴连杰夫妇等约180人参与活动。

The Beijing Garden Expo Park was brightly lit and decorated with various lanterns. The AMS diplomats strolled among the fantastic arrays of lanterns, which were arranged under nine themes, with great interest and bursting joy. All the invited participants had great fun together with the Chinese visitors at the Park, appreciating the beauty of traditional Chinese culture, thus contributing to deepening ASEAN-China mutual understanding and friendship, and enriching ASEAN-China Year of People-to-people Exchanges.
当晚，园博园灯火通明，灿若星河，东盟国家驻华外交官漫步花灯海洋，在九大主题区流连忘返、啧啧称奇，与中国民众共享中华文化传统之美、共叙中国东盟友谊佳话、共庆“2024中国—东盟人文交流年”。
