The Guia Fortress includes two famous tourist attractions: the Guia Lighthouse and the Guia Chapel. Guia Lighthouse has a simple rustic exterior, in keeping with Guia Chapel lying adjacent. The church was built in 1622. The vaults and walls inside the church are painted with colorful murals.
