“续集前传”用英语怎么说？
·1. 续集：sequel·
sequel /'siːkwəl/ 名词，表示a book, film, play etc that continues the story of an earlier one, usually written or made by the same person，书籍、电影等作品后续出版、发布的续集，延续已有的故事情节，或者发展出一些支线。
最先发布的电影是the original (movie)，一部电影可以有a sequel，或者some sequels。
常用结构：
a sequel to + sth/作品名称
例：The new movie is a sequel to the first one. It picks up where the original left off.
这部新电影是第一部的续集，延续第一部的情节。pick up表示to start again, leave off表示to stop，to pick up where sb. left off表示从某人中断/停下的地方重新开始往下讲。
例：Five years later, she published a sequel to the original novel.
五年后，她出版了原著小说的续集。
例：The sequel did even better at the box office than the original.
续集的票房甚至比原作更好。box office名词短语，最开始表示the place in a theatre, cinema etc where tickets are sold，剧院电影院卖票的地方，售票处，衍生出比喻义，指电影的票房。
例：The original is a classic, but the sequels aren't as good.
原片很经典，但续集就没那么好了。
·2. 前传：prequel·
prequel /'priːkwəl/ 名词，表示a book, film etc that tells you what happened before the story told in a previous popular book or film，“前传”。
prequel这个单词是pre+sequel拼起来产生的，前传prequel和续集sequel一样，它们电影上映的时间都比the original晚，但是前传中的故事发生时间比the original早。
常用结构：
a prequel to + sth/作品名称
例：The Wandering Earth 2 is the prequel to the 2019 film The Wandering Earth.
《流浪地球2》是2019年电影《流浪地球》的前传。
例：This prequel is set 20 years before the events of the original.
这部前传的背景设定在原作事件发生的 20 年前。
例：The prequel gave fans a deeper understanding of the villain's motivations.
前传让影迷们更深入地了解反派的动机。motivation /ˌməʊtɪ'veɪʃn/ 名词，表示the reason why somebody does something or behaves in a particular way，某人做某事的原因和动机。
例：This film is a prequel to last year's hit movie, exploring the main character's childhood and how he became a hero.
这部电影是去年一部热门电影的前传，深入挖掘主角的童年故事以及他如何成为英雄。
·3. 第几部电影·
常见说法是用序数词：
the first, second, third, fourth ... movie
或者电影名称加基数词：
Harry Potter 1, Harry Potter 2, ...
例：Have you seen Ne Zha 2? I like the first movie, but the second one is even better.
你去看《哪吒2》吗？我喜欢第一部，不过第二部甚至更精彩。
例：The fourth movie in the series felt unnecessary.
这系列电影的第四部感觉没必要拍。
例：The kids were arguing about whether the second Harry Potter movie was as good as the first one.
孩子们在争论《哈利·波特》第二部有没有第一部好看。
例：The third The Lord of the Rings movie is my favourite of the trilogy.
《魔戒》三部曲中我最喜欢第三部。trilogy /'trɪlədʒi/ 名词，指三本成一系列的书，三部成一系列的电影，三部曲。
