斐济由330余个岛屿组成，其中约三分之一岛屿有人居住，多为珊瑚礁环绕的火山岛。作为群岛国家，斐济海运业较为发达。全国共有4个设施较为完备的港口：苏瓦、劳托卡、莱武卡和马劳港。苏瓦港是全国最大港口。斐济各城镇都有港口、码头连接各个岛屿，水上交通比较便利。
