Staff from the Yuyao Education Bureau confirmed to reporters that bureau leaders and multiple officials are handling the situation at Yaobei Experimental School. Separately, bureau staff responded to media inquiries, stating that a deputy director in charge has led a team to intervene.

According to Yuyao City Government’s official website, the school was established in September 2008 as the city’s first public rural nine-year integrated school (covering primary and junior high education).
