Regarding the online reports on May 23 regarding food safety and hygiene issues at the cafeteria of Yaobei Experimental School, Yuyao City immediately organized a joint investigation team consisting of disciplinary inspection and supervision, education, market regulation, public security, and health authorities to conduct an inquiry.

The investigation revealed that the school failed to enforce food safety management protocols and bears direct responsibility for food hygiene and safety violations. The Yuyao Municipal Market Regulation Bureau has filed a case for investigation and punishment against the school, ordering it to immediately improve its campus food safety oversight mechanisms.

The Deputy Director of Yuyao Municipal Education Bureau responsible for relevant duties and the Director of Langxia Market Regulation Office under the Municipal Market Regulation Bureau have been suspended for inspection.

The principal of the Yaobei Experimental School Education Group in Yuyao City has been suspended for inspection, the vice principal in charge has been removed from their position, and the school has been ordered to immediately dismiss the head of the General Affairs Office responsible for managing the cafeteria of the primary school division.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Education Bureau has established an on-site working team at the school to strengthen guidance and supervision, ensuring normal academic operations and daily routines.
