The rapid development of the Asia-Pacific benefited from a generally peaceful and stable regional environment, which should be cherished all the more. The ARF is an important multilateral security platform in the Asia-Pacific region led by ASEAN, and it bears on significant responsibility for maintaining regional peace and stability. The ASEAN Community Vision 2045 proposes revitalizing the ARF and enhancing confidence-building measures, which China welcomes.
