教学楼里布了一个新展，叫《黑色大西洋》，给广大师生介绍“英国的贩奴历史” 。是从剑桥大学博物馆搬过来的。这个博物馆我去年冬天去参观了，收藏颇丰。但这个著名博物馆也是英国贩奴贸易的证据。
“1816年，理查德·菲茨威廉向剑桥大学捐赠了大量资金、文献和艺术品，由此创建了以他命名的博物馆。但菲茨威廉的慷慨之举，部分得益于其祖父通过跨大西洋奴隶贸易积累的财富。 ‌
1816, Richard Fitzwilliam donated vast sums of money, literature and art to the University of Cambridge, creating the Museum that is named after him. But Fitzwilliam's generosity was only possible because of the wealth his grandfather accumulated in part through the transatlantic slave trade.
