Galaxy, Burning Bright!In the forests of the night lies barred spiral galaxy NGC 3583, imaged by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. It has two arms twisting into the Universe and is 98 million light-years from the Milky Way. Two supernovae exploded here: one in 1975, another in 2015.
