云母屏风烛影深，长河渐落晓星沉。
嫦娥应悔偷灵药，碧海青天夜夜心。

Seen through the mica screen,
There dims the candlelight;
The Silver River fades away,
And morn stars sinking in th' first light.
ChangE takes whatever comes her way
But regretting ever having stolen
the magic drug* the other day;
Attended by th' blue ocean of the sky,
She alone misses her husband
Every night.
