#田作之赫[超话]# alright, family, it's time to talk about last night's debacle! [无聊] i feel that most of us need some type of explanation or closure in order to move forward.
what follows is my own opinion, so eat at your own risk! [干饭人] also, this is a long post. i will try to use correct grammar, so the online translation will be the most accurate. if the translation doesn’t sound right, please use Google Translate and/or DeepL as cross references. (that’s what i’ve been using everyday here because the Weibo translator sucks most of the time!) please feel free to respond; i promise i don’t bite! [嘻嘻]
to make this easier to digest, i will make a bulleted list because i’m Asian and i have OCD. [挤眼] here we go:
1. vv’s Weibo
a. we see vv in full leopard mode. she is clearly trying to make a statement to 0h, the leopard. she is also wearing a diamond band on her left ring finger, which is very unusual for her. 💍 is she ready to fully commit to the relationship?
b. the caption says, “ 跟我走吧 .” i believe she was asking 0h to walk the red carpet with her! 👠 i wonder if 0h told her he would try to make it happen. [思考]
2. 0h’s studio Weibo
a. 0h’s photoshoot preview was posted quite late. what caused the delay? [疑问] it might have been due to fact that he had 2 photoshoots: 1 for each outfit of the night. 👔 or could he have been arguing with his agent/iQiyi production team about not being able to walk with vv?
b. out of all the props he could have used, 0h pointed out the mirror🪞as a common point of reference to the mirror in vv’s Weibo. if he looked through the mirror, could he see vv on the other side? 👀
3. The Red Carpet
as many of us were given a rude awakening of how the entertainment industry works yesterday, dual platform dramas are apparently treated 2nd priority to dramas that are exclusively broadcasted on their respective platforms. when it comes down to it, it’s all about money!💰 if you really think about it though, it could have been worse: iQiyi could have made 0h walk with OTHER female leads. fortunately, they decided it would be best to have both 0hvv walk solo instead. i’d honestly be jealous if our parents walked with other people! [哼]
4. The Award Ceremony
a. many people noticed that 0h was not as happy or interested during this year’s ceremony. of course not! he couldn’t walk or sit with vv. even though he was at the main table due to his high rank, they seated him with people he wasn’t really familiar with. on top of that, he had to rush out to change outfits halfway. poor guy…[捂嘴哭]
b. despite the night’s challenges, both 0hvv tried their best to promote Zhuyu. their outfits seemed to complement each other as well. 👔👗
c. unfortunately, vv left early right after receiving her award. true, she didn’t have another iQiyi drama to promote, or she might have had other work obligations. ultimately, i suspect that she was disappointed she couldn’t appear beside 0h, especially on the red carpet. she actually looks sad in the last 2 pictures she later posted on Instagram. [照相机] it doesn’t make sense! she just won an award! 🏆 it was definitely a message for 0h.
d. in many ways, vv is like Fan Changyu: she must push herself harder to make herself even better and better, so she can proudly stand on the same stage as 0h - phsically, emotionally, and intellectually. 👫🏻 i can only imagine what she must be thinking because i am also an INFP. [来抱抱]
5. Conclusion
sorry, i didn’t mean for this to become an essay, but i hope that many of you will not give up on this precious CP because of what happened last night. they are truly star-crossed lovers who deserve a real fighting chance at their relationship. it feels like the whole world is against them. if we abandon them too, who will support them then? unless they break up for sure, i will continue to stand behind them until they find their “happily ever after.” will you continue this journey with me?
