Argentine contemporary artist Julián Pesce's solo exhibition “扫地僧（The Sweeping Monk）” is set to open at Nancy’s Gallery (Lujiazui) on 24 January 2026! Through two humble Chinese objects—a bamboo broom and an old wooden stick—the artist transforms them into brushes. In the repetitive actions of carving, sweeping, and dotting, he achieves a visual rhythm of impact and respiration. “The Soul of Dust” series, which superimposes electronic chip imagery onto Chinese floral photography, echoes the notion that “all things possess spirit, and the cosmos may be glimpsed within dust.” All are cordially invited.
