High speed train from Shanghai to Beijing. Business class train ride of another dimension. Incredibly exciting technology. Top speed 350km an hour, seats like the finest aeroplane. So stable and smooth I felt like we were floating. Doubly so when I took the opportunity to do a whole HOUR of Lumenate sessions with my Nova… not usually something I have time for, but soul quenching when I can. 30 minutes of “deep exploration” followed by “Surrender” from the John Lennon “Mind Games” experience. My schedule in China is intense, and the pause to refresh and reset my mind is vital. Here are some pictures of the journey. I love trains, the magic they hold, the stories they tell. From Brief Encounter, to Strangers on a Train, from The 4:50 from Paddington, to High Noon … trains promise encounters, intrigue, mystery … I felt like an excited child.
