Nancy's Gallery Interview | Conversation with Julián Pesce

Nancy's Gallery is now presenting the exhibition The Sweeping Monk and has conducted an in-depth interview with the exhibiting artist Julián Pesce.
Starting from the "Sweeper" series, he talks about labor, repetition, physical memory, and why "daily life" will become the most important part of creation.
From bamboo brooms, wooden sticks, chopsticks, to drums, printing and sound, he transformed daily movements into a continuous "present", and also incorporated Shanghai's urban experience, Chinese materials and concepts into his visual language.
