Born in a small town in Ukraine, Viktoriia moved to the US at 15, studied computer and data science, traveled the world.
New York felt like the center of the world. But war split her life in two. For 3 years she treated soldiers missing limbs, eyes, and faces.
She survived multiple concussions, including after a Russian glide bomb hit an aid building she was
evacuating. She cremated the bodies of 3 close friends.
