"Creating a believable romance between a man and a snow figure meant constantly adapting to what nature provided. Some days offered real snow; other days required improvisation with artificial materials.
Equipment frequently struggled in the cold, and long distances complicated technical setups such as cranes and camera rigs. Limited daylight and travel time reduced actual shooting hours, forcing constant prioritization."
