Este pasado 21 de febrero, México conmemoró el Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna 2026. En nuestro Consulado General refrendamos nuestro compromiso para que las Lenguas Indígenas Nacionales alcancen reconocimiento pleno. Institucionalizarlas es garantizar que las personas sean atendidas en su propia lengua, con respeto a su cultura y a sus derechos lingüísticos. Las lenguas resguardan memoria, identidad y futuro.
This past February 21st, Mexico commemorated International Mother Language Day 2026. At our Consulate General, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that Mexico's Indigenous languages ​​achieve full recognition.
