很多同学写作遇到的一个主要问题是写完后没有人批改，不知道自己究竟写得对不对。这种情况下我们可以使用写作批改工具来辅助判断。

我推荐一个国外很有名的写作工具QuillBot，其网站是：

简单来说，QuillBot 是一款基于人工智能的英文写作助手，其核心功能是帮助用户改写和提升英文文本的质量。

网站的核心功能是改写器 (Paraphraser)。它可以用不同词汇和句式重新表达你的句子，让你学习更加地道和高级的表达。

改写器有标准、流畅、学术和正式等多种模式，能够满足多种需求。我测试了其中的标准模式（Standard），效果非常不错。

下面是我测试的文本，它来自一份学生四六级作文，文风是很典型的中国考生风格：

There is a famous saying, "Too much water drowned the miller." It means things will develop in the opposite direction when they become extreme.

A good case in point is excessive use of the Internet. Like pollution and traffic jams coming with the convenience of cars, the access to the Internet has been so popular that it has given rise to a new kind of social epidemic, the Internet addiction. There are many stories of excellent students who lost their university scholarships, or of other students who failed at the university altogether simply because they spent too much time online.

将文本放进改写器之后，可以看到这样的修改结果：

可以看到，修改后的作文高级了很多，其中有不少值得我们学习的地方。

比如there is a famous saying被换成了更地道的说法a well-known proverb goes
it has given rise to a new kind of social epidemic 改为更简洁的说法 it has spawned a new societal epidemic

because they spent too much time onlin被改为更简洁的说法due to excessive internet use

There are many stories of…则换成了一个高级句式Numerous accounts exist of somebody doing something

这一句式在议论文写作中很好用，比如职场话题中可以说：

Numerous accounts exist of employees experiencing burnout as a result of long working hours.

社会话题中可以说：

Numerous accounts exist of young people becoming addicted to social media platforms.

教育话题中可以说：

Numerous accounts exist of graduates struggling to find employment despite holding advanced degrees.

如果我们平时写完作文后能多用这一改写器润色，并且及时复盘，那么长期坚持下来，我们的遣词造句水平会有很大的提升。

QuillBot还有一个Grammar Checker（语法检测）功能，它能帮助我们找出句子里面的常见用词和语法问题。

比如我用一个句子进行了测试：

Although internet is very important, however, we cannot rely too much on it.

它能够很准确地指出句子中存在的两个问题。一个是internet缺少冠词，应该改为the internet

另外一个是however和although连用会造成语义重复，这里要把however删掉。
这一功能对我们写作自检也很有帮助。

QuillBot虽然有一些高级功能需要开会员才能用，但是免费版的功能已经很好用了，足够应对平时的写作批改场景。有兴趣的同学可以去看看。
