Actually, I believe for us—especially for female supply chain management personnel —the most important thing is to understand the fundamental logic of the business.
We should not only see the surface-level results or phenomena, but also get to the underlying logic, including why those results and phenomena come about.
We must develop the ability to dig into the root logic and keep expanding our professional scope. In these ways, we can improve our professionalism and grow into well-rounded, comprehensive supply chain managers.
We should not only understand the development trends of our inner and personal worlds—our past, present and future.
We should also observe and understand the changes, historical context and future trends of the wider world and macro-environment with genuine curiosity, and reflect these insights into our daily work and lives.
We must develop this curiosity and insight, because it is impossible to truly understand our business within a closed environment.
This is especially important for us as supply chain management professionals.
Supply chain capability has now become a core competitive strength for global enterprises.
Therefore, especially in the current complex environment of global trade, supply chain management professionals must take a global perspective.
We must elevate our thinking and expand our capabilities to a higher and broader level, and must never confine ourselves to a limited scope or a single country.
