The World of Irreversible Change is influenced by the actions of viewers. The people in the artwork respond when a viewer touches them, but they return to their daily lives. If the interaction is continuous, however, the fighting spreads throughout the city, and it becomes engulfed in flames. Once the world of this artwork begins to burn, the world from before can never be returned to. The people who interact with the artwork cause this outcome.

Curated by the Thoma Foundation—renowned for its pioneering collection of media art—this exhibition marks a significant moment for the Austin art scene, allowing visitors to experience firsthand how digital information transforms into sensory art.
