【原文】曾子曰：“吾闻诸夫子：孟庄子之孝也，其他可能也；其不改父之臣与父之政，是难能也。”
【译文】曾子说：“我听夫子说过：孟庄子的孝，其他的容易做到；而不改换他父亲的臣子和政策，这是难以做到的。”
【英文】Zeng Zi said,"I have heard from our Master that 'while it may not be too demanding for others to emulate the filial piety of Meng Zhuangzi,that he held firm to his father's way of running the government by retaining his ministers,is indeed something no one else was able to attain.'"
