“I came across this beautiful demonstration of traditional Chinese silk embroidery, in the Shanghai paddock. The artist recreates paintings entirely with silk threads, stitch by stitch. This single piece takes about seven months to complete, a reminder of how much patience and craftsmanship lives behind these centuries-old techniques 💜 She was recreating my favorite painting from Monet and let me give it a try 🪷”
