Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Future Leaders in Prosthodontics 1005 workshop in Irvine, California, USA. It was a truly enriching experience and a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world — not only prosthodontists, but also professionals from other oral healthcare sectors and even beyond dentistry.
I was particularly moved by the sincerity of the speakers, who openly and honestly shared their career journeys, reflections, and the challenges they encountered along the way. I was also deeply impressed by the many brilliant minds I met through the presentations and conversations throughout the workshop.
Founded by Drs. Sreenivas Koka and Neal Garrett in 2012, the workshop was created to foster emerging leadership and encourage the exchange of ideas. It was inspiring to see how personal initiative and a genuine commitment to others can create such a profound and positive impact on other people’s lives.
