【译文】孔子说：“不懂天命，就无法成为君子；不懂礼仪，就无法立足社会；不懂辨析别人言谈的真实意思，就无法真正了解人。”
【英文】The Master said,"One cannot be a noble man of virtue if he does not recognize the Mandate of Heaven;one cannot establish himself if he knows nothing about the rites of propriety;one cannot understand others if he is unable to discern and interpret their speeches."
