Chrome Hearts對很多「懂」的人來說,從來不只是”銀飾品牌”。它真正迷人的地方,是把搖滾、騎士文化、哥德語彙、手工工藝,還有一種不願被定義的反叛精神,全部揉進同一個宇宙裡。最初從皮革與銀飾出發,後來一路延伸到服飾、包款、皮件、眼鏡、家具與生活物件,甚至前陣子開拓的酒店,都漸漸形成一種非常完整的生活美學~

設計師Richard Stark最厲害的地方,是他從來沒有把 Chrome Hearts做成一個只追流行的品牌。相反地,他一直堅持用自己的節奏來製造東西,把創作、工藝、質感與態度放在商業前面。Chrome Hearts 長年維持家族經營、重視內部製作,也刻意遠離一般奢侈品牌常見的大眾化行銷和電商模式,這也是它一直讓人覺得低調奢華、神秘稀有,且有靈魂的原因。

很多人喜愛Chrome Hearts,不只是因為它的十字架、皮革、銀飾或那些一眼就能認出的標誌性設計,而是因為它每一件作品都像是在訴說一種態度:真正的風格,不是迎合,而是忠於自己。收藏不只在於物件本身,更像是在典藏一個品牌幾十年來始終如一的世界觀。

很開心能和品牌創辦人Richard Stark在20年前一同共襄盛舉台北旗艦店的開幕以及12年前受邀到洛杉磯親自目睹參觀Chrome Hearts的工廠。一系列從銀飾到木工的手工工藝,真的是極致到令人屏息!近幾年更有幸能見證到Deadly Doll創辦人Jesse Jo Stark(Richard Stark女兒)的作品~

For those who truly understand it, Chrome Hearts has never been just a “silver jewelry brand.” What makes it so captivating is how it blends rock ’n’ roll, biker culture, gothic language, artisanal craftsmanship, and an unrestrained, rebellious spirit into one cohesive universe.

What makes Richard Stark exceptional is that he has never built Chrome Hearts to chase trends. Instead, he has always created at his own pace, placing creativity, craftsmanship, quality, and attitude above commerciality.

Feeling incredibly grateful to have been part of the Taipei flagship opening alongside founder Richard Stark 20 years ago, and to have been invited 12 years ago to visit the Chrome Hearts factory in Los Angeles. Witnessing everything from silverwork to woodworking craftsmanship was truly breathtaking.
