In 1964 The Royal College of Art produced the 'Shakespeare Suite' to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth. The RCA print department created a set of 26 lithographic prints each in a small edition of 50. It included work by artists such as Elisabeth Frink, Julian Trevelyan, Norman Ackroyd, Edwin La Dell at a stage in their careers when they were either still art students, fresh graduates or RCA teachers.
