When planning upper All-on-X cases, tilting posterior implants is a great strategy to avoid the sinus when bone volume is low.
But there’s a catch: while the implants and abutments might fit, the guided sleeves sometimes don't. Because they are raised and angled toward each other, the sleeves end up colliding in the planning software. You simply can't print a guide like that.
The solution? If one guide can’t solve the problem, make two!
By designing two separate surgical guides to accommodate the tilted implants, you eliminate sleeve collisions and ensure your surgeon has a smooth surgery.
To your surgical freedom! Design your guides using the DAS Guided Kit.
