When a tooth fractures in the esthetic zone, the ultimate goal is seamless restoration—making the implant-supported crown look and feel like the tooth was never gone.

Here is how Dr. Brandon Kofford tackled this complex case:

Preparation: A pre-extraction impression was taken to create a matrix, ensuring the original anatomy was perfectly captured.

The Procedure: Careful extraction of the tooth and fractured root to preserve as much bone as possible.

Immediate Placement: A flapless approach was used for immediate implant placement to maintain the natural soft tissue profile. And achieved a high primary stability.

The Simple Temp: Attached a Simple Temp (from Smart on X) and screw in the temporary abutment.

The Pickup: Utilized the matrix for a pickup without a screw channel, followed by final finishing of the crown.

The Delivery: Seated the restoration—looking as the natural tooth and soft tissue was never touched.

The Result?
Immediately after delivery, the patient looked in the mirror and said:
“You did a great job; I can’t even tell the difference!”

We know how much a smile matters to a patient. As Dr. Kofford puts it:
"I don’t just restore teeth; I restore LIFE!"
