如果世上只有一棵那样的树，你会觉得它很美。可正因为到处都是，你反而看不见它有多美了。
If there was only one tree like that in the world,
you would think it was beautiful.
But because there are so many,
you just can't see how beautiful it really is.

你看一切事物的时候，
要好比你是第一次或最后一次看到。
如果能这样，你在世上的日子就会充满荣光。
Look at everything always as though
you were seeing it either for the first or last time:
Thus is your time on earth filled with glory.

无论种子散落何处，都会长出一棵树，
向着天空，挣扎着生长。
它是唯一能在水泥地里生长的树。
它枝繁叶茂，偏偏钟情于居民住宅区。
No matter where its seed fell,
it made a tree which struggled to reach the sky.
And it was the only tree that grew out of cement.It grew lushly, but only in the tenements districts.
