拾萬空间宣布代理艺术家秦晋

拾萬空间非常荣幸地宣布，自2026年起正式代理中国当代艺术家秦晋。这是一次价值观深度契合的合作。我们双方互为镜子，在接下来的道路上彼此关照和支持。

秦晋与拾萬空间的合作，并非一次偶然的选择，而是在彼此长期的观察与共鸣中自然生长的结果。秦晋的创作方式与拾萬空间存在着深层的同构关系，与拾萬空间的内在追求形成共振。

秦晋的作品具备将天然被渺小化的个体经验瞬间扭转成一种坚不可摧的力量的作用力——体现出女性在社会关系中的巨大团结力。集体记忆对个人精神的塑造、日常工作中的朴素性与神性共荣所形成的形式感，在秦晋的作品中如棉花一样被包裹在其中。凯伦·史密斯指出，秦晋的作品“营造出的是一个极其私密且感性的空间”。这种从私人经验出发、最终触及普遍人性问题的创作路径，正是拾萬空间希望“激发出当下文化中被忽视的部分”的艺术追求。秦晋的创作媒介极为多样——绘画、影像、装置、行为、文本写作，她能够在不同媒介之间自由切换，表达自如。

与此同时，秦晋将在2027年拾萬空间（北京）举办个展。

秦晋，1976年生于广州，现任教于广州美术学院油画系第五工作室。

Hunsand Space is pleased to announce its representation of Chinese contemporary artist Qin Jin, beginning in 2026. This collaboration reflects a close alignment in approach and sensibility, grounded in a sustained dialogue between the gallery and the artist.

The relationship between Qin Jin and Hunsand Space has developed over time through continued engagement with the artist’s work. Rather than the result of a singular decision, it has taken shape through a process of mutual observation and resonance, revealing a shared orientation that underpins both the artist’s practice and the gallery’s program.

Qin Jin’s work possesses the capacity to transform experiences often rendered marginal into a resilient and irreducible force, pointing to forms of solidarity among women within social structures. The shaping of individual consciousness through collective memory, together with the coexistence of the quotidian and the sacred within everyday labor, is held within her work, as if cushioned in cotton. As Karen Smith has observed, Qin Jin’s work “creates an intensely private and sensorial space.” Beginning from lived experience and extending toward broader questions of human existence, her practice resonates with the gallery’s commitment to bringing into view those dimensions of contemporary culture that often remain overlooked. Working across painting, video, installation, performance, and writing, Qin Jin moves fluidly between media, articulating a practice that is both formally expansive and conceptually coherent.

Qin Jin will present a solo exhibition at Hunsand Space (Beijing) in 2027.

Qin Jin was born in Guangzhou in 1976 and currently teaches at the Fifth Studio of the Oil Painting Department, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
