On April 23, South Korean singer and actress Kim Jisoo won the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award at the 2026 Cannes International Series Festival. Kim has built a successful singing career as a member of the K-pop girl group Blackpink. Outside of music, she has also started acting in many shows. This honor came after her recent Netflix show Boyfriend on Demand. After winning the award, Kim said she would work harder and show a new side of herself as an actress.
